Need help with RedHat

I just reinstalled Redhat 7.2 today, but it is acting very weird. The rpm files don't install when I double click them, it prompts me for what program to open it with. Mozilla doesn't start it just hangs. And a lot of stuff just freezes, mostly when I go to find files, it hangs.

So, how do I make the rpm files install from double clicking them? How do I make mozilla start?

RPM files use the RPM package manager. The command line package is called "rpm" oddly enough...

If I used the GUI, I've used the RPM package manager to do the install, rather than double clicking. Alas, I've been using IceWM as my window manager, rather than Gnome or KDE, as it's a darn sight quicker.

I'm sure someone like Kaitain can probably give you a definitative answer.. (hehe, soz Kaitain!)

Unhappy

Redhat is acting weird. I can't check my web based email, it won't let me log in for some reason. I did get mozilla to work by just reinstalling it, but I can't check my email. I tried Galeon, mozilla, and konqueror. Actually redhat froze today while I when I was using Galeon, and I had to turn off my computer.

I think the email thing might have something to do with netscape. It's aol mail whenever I try to login it brings me to this netscape screenname service login screen. Galeon, mozilla, and konqueror all do this now, mozilla used to just let me log in but not anymore.

it's past midnight and I haven't figured anything out, so goodnight.
