Should I be worried?

Attached is an actual screen cap I took from an error message I got in Windows XP. I've seen that once before, when I was rebooting. It popped up one of those "program is not responding" error messages, and the program was "should not see me." I disregarded it, since I had never heard of it before, and didn't have any documentation as to what was going on. So when I saw it again, I decided to do a screen cap, and ask what everyone thought.

Send a message via MSN to mookydooky

"Should not see me" programs tend to be used in installation programs. Use a virus and trojan checker and run a scan. If nothing shows up, you really shouldn't be worried.

I just ran McAfee 6 this morning, with the updated .dat. Didn't see anything. And I'm not as worried about viruses as much as I am worried about Bubba Gates. But thanks for that.

Go find that RUP103AU.EXE program on your hard disk, and see who wrote the thing, then you should know who to blame...
