| urgent question I'm a noob to linux and uh.. well.. I need to know how to echo GIDs (not my question really.. asking for a friend.. I have no f%*#ing clue what any of this is)

| GIDs for users or directories? For users simply take a look in the /etc/passwd file. For directories, I don't know
