DivX 5.02 Codec . . .

Damn I'm loving this codec! Even better than the 4.12 codec I was previously using. VHS quality video at 768x420 is only taking up about 7MB per minute, that's including the 128bit stereo MP3 compiled in to the files.

hi ya Jeff,

what program (free or shareware) do you recomend for ripping DVD? i use DVD to DivX and so far so good.

and another thing, i think it's safe to say the my dvd movies are about 2 and a half hours, so what setting on the divx codec do you recommend for the highest quality that will fit on a 700mb cdr? screenies please?
