Simple product catalog
I'm looking for a simple product catalog script. PHP, ASP, whatever.

I only need some simple functions like:

* Search engine. Search for part numbers/names
* An "Add to request" or similar option on all items
* A "Complete reguest" button. Not an actual shopping cart with payment and such.

It should also be easy to add/remove/edit items to the database.

Do you know where I can find a script that will suit my needs? Preferably free, but up to $50 will do.

I might have found something that could work, but I can't change the file permissions on the server (its a winNT server to CHMOD doesn't work). How can I change them then?

that could be SOOO quickly written in PHP with a mysql db. well any language to be honest. But that would be my first choice.

Even with the small cart option? We won't need pricing etc, only so people could add things and request a price.

Did you ever get this sorted?

Was thinking about this last night and realising just how easy it actually is to do. I haven't time to code it myself but could write you an outline of everything you would need to do, then you could go off and code it in whatever language you'd be comfortable with.
