Possibly the most depressing time of the year for everyone?

Yup, its got to that time again in the year, where you've been on a constant high for a week or so, for me 2 weeks. No work, just lots of fun, gatherings, drinking, etc. Then one sunday the christmas tree goes out in the garden, and you realise you have to go back to work the next day! Is it just me that feels a holiday can never be long enough? I feel horribly depressed right now, i haven't managed to finish any of the things i needed to do around the house to sort things out. im still really unorganised, and i want to carry on lazing around all day drinking and socialising :P. I think its the weather thats a bad thing as well, going out in the cold tomorrow morning (freezing here atm) and the dark mornings .

one depressed conrad

Not for me. I'm happy. All my buds are back from college for a few weeks so we're snowboarding and chilling. it's a couple months ago that's my down time personally.

Believe me, after about 10 months of doing nothing I'd be glad of some work or something!

One month of exams coming up.. I just hate January
I had some plans for a week on a snowboard in the French Alps, but somehow our professor decided to drop a biology exam right int the middle of it.. Depressing..

Only comfort is a blizzard roaming Denmark right now. It creates some chaos as we are not used to such weather

One of my room mates, Allan from the AOA staff, finished his exams before Christmas, so he has the entire month where he can do anything he wants to. Thats annoying when I sit next door trying to figure out math. Sometimes life isn't fair..

I've got 5 exams this month, plus I've got all my usual work to do

Worst thing about going back is the fact that I've been getting up like 11 oclock every day for the past two weeks, and I've gotta get up at 7:30 tmrow, gonna be hell (although I'm sure I can catch up on some lost sleep since I've got 3 free periods tmrow morning )

God, I'd give almost anything for 2 weeks off with nothing to do but party and have fun.

I have 3 exams this month. This time of year people are jsut depressed at how litle they have (in some cases) achieved over the previous year, particularly if they had big plans.

right now everyone at my work is getting seriously pxxxed about the pay which we've all put up with for months. I think it's all going to go off at the staff meeting in two weeks. hehe... love the fact its only part time and as soon as i get into and out of uni i'll be on to better things. THEN I can start getting depressed about how my life is going nowhere...

Like Rackne said, get a job. Even if you can only find a crap part-time minimum wage job, its still something to do.

I only have one thing to say. To the tune of the Silhouettes "Get a Job."

Silhouettes - Get a Job
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Yip yip yip yip yip yip yip yip
Mum mum mum mum mum mum
Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na
Every morning about this time
she get me out of my bed
a-crying get a job.
After breakfast, everyday,
she throws the want ads right my way
And never fails to say,
Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Yip yip yip yip yip yip yip yip
Mum mum mum mum mum mum
Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na
And when I get the paper
I read it through and through
And my girl never fails to say
If there is any work for me,
And when I go back to the house
I hear the woman's mouth
Preaching and a crying,
Tell me that I'm lying 'bout a job
That I never could find.
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Sha na na na, sha na na na na,
Yip yip yip yip yip yip yip yip
Mum mum mum mum mum mum
Get a job Sha na na na, sha na na na na
