| I'm amazed at the stigma surrounding dan after his departure from oc.com, he's almost got a cult following, just don't do out crazy

| Glad to see you here, Jon! I have no interest in dissing OCer's.com. They seem to be doing fine, with no radical changes in the rudder since Daniel ~ decided to leave. It was a great shock to read that Daniel ~ was gone, and I'd have felt MUCH better about it if the word came from Daniel ~ himself! I think many members at OCer's.com felt the same, at least among the "old timers." I don't think that there's any "stigma" about Daniel ~. It can't be denied that there may be a "cone of silence" about Daniel since his departure from OCer's. There shouldn't be, obviously. But we do live in a Mondo Bizarro world. In my case, and believe that I don't want to admit this, this may have something to do with the "Shh! Don't wake up Daddy. He will cuff you about the head and shoulders when he's displeased," problem that my siblings and I were blessed with. Thanks Dad!

| Nah, I would've made myself a member at any forum run by Dan simply because I know it would be run right. I don't plan on dissing OC.com or quitting any of the teams I'm part of there for this forum. They've been too good to me there. I do feel, however, that it's grown so big to the point that it's hard to be an effective member there on most occasions even though I know that's probably untrue. It's just hard for me to keep up. Just looks to me like this one just spawned and needs a helping hand in being the great site the opening page states it will be one day...I want to be a part of that like I was with OC.com. Nothing wrong with that I hope.
