I think that's actually a car that's had an accident in a hydraulic press: look, it even has 4 wheels!

I really don't see the point of it - bikes are meant for having fun on twisty roads but that thing will only ever do a straight line. How boring...

It looks like one of those god aweful £15 computer cases, complete with horrendous shiny plastic!!

the RR boke wont hit 60 that fast. its not possible, as a gas turbine only develops power in the top 80% of its RPM range. and I think the clutch would die if you tried to use it with that much power being fed through, also a gas turbine takes several seconds from idle to full throttle

Clutch? Did I mention a clutch? No brakes or steering either, BTW. You're right about the lag. Switch on, wait, switch off, ***** self, and ....Whooooomph! Vanish over horizon. See BSH magazine Nov 02.

Hey, I didn't say I would ride it! How do astronauts cope with the Gs? Wouldn't the same apply? :-)

Not really - astronauts are strapped into nice supportive seats wearing nice pressurised suits that hold all their blood and organs in the right sort of place. And a space shuttle has a computer to help out when they black out.

In contrast, a motorbike provides no support whatsoever, and if you black out, there's only an unfortunate smudge on the tarmac to remind us you ever existed.

Pleasant

Drag bike do the quarter mile in 7 seconds at 180mph. I am sure that they are hitting 60 in less than 1.6 sec

You would be talking about Deals Gap.

318 turns in 11 miles

http://www.dealsgap.com/

I've ridden my 75 Norton 850 Commando over this course several times and I have to say there is NOTHING like it anywhere. I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it.

This post goes real well with my new sig. , anyone know who wrote that song?
