What are Nestlé doing to help fight hunger in Ethiopia? They are demanding the Ethiopian Government pay $6m in compensation for a company that was nationalised 27 years ago, a company that they didn't even own at the time.

For several years the student union at my uni boycotted Nestlé and none of their products could be bought in any of the campus shops or bars etc.

But this year, people decided KitKats were more important than principles and Nestlé products are back. *shrugs*

I doubt Nestlé will listen to any protests consumers make unless all of a sudden no one buys anything from them. But people like KitKats and cheap instant coffee. Personal interest always comes first.

Nestlé for decades now dressed women up as nurses and sent them out to sell baby formula to South American peasant women.They tell these women that breast feeding is unsanitary and backward and use high pressure tactic to get them to bottle feed.


Nestlé knows quite well that they have no means of serializing the baby bottles so many of these infants die of a large verity of infections and disease. In addition older children suffer from inadequate diet as money is diverted to the Nestlé baby formula.

Every UN nation on Earth save one condemned this practice. The US was made to abstain by R Reagan who wanted to let "the market forces prevail" By which one can only assume he meant that when enough babes die it will no longer be profitable to kill them in this manner. Die Nestlé and may you Executive offerers rot in hell I curse you every day I draw a breathe!!

Nestlé insists that it has the right to continue to murder babies in this manner to this very Day continues to do so.

Greed is ugly. I've boycotted Nestle products for at least fifteen years. Hershey is a union busting but*head, but they don't kill babies for their bottom line.

That's the problem with boycotts (I boycott the Nasty N. as well) ALL of these giant corps are run by real monsters most have no problem killing any one who gets in their way. What's going on in S. America and Africa as well as the Middle East is one long painful horror of cruel intentions.It simply isn't possible to identify and boycott them all.

But I think EVERYONE should Boycott at lest one of them, if only to keep hope alive.

Did not know about nestle, supposedly 1,500,000 casualties from not breast feeding a year. That's actually more than abortion.

my gf audited a nestle factory on africa. i saw pictures of the horrible working conditions and pay pay to say the least was next to nill. we don't buy any nestle products anymore.

at the train stations in my town there are big signs saying "welcome to croydon, home of nestle" since one of their major HQ's is this friggin great big building with nestle plastered all over it. I've stopped buying anything nestle, as have many people I know. There are probably a lot more big corporations that act in the same manner, but are clever enough not to let the secret out.

The simple and ugly truth is they own the media which has stopped reporting on corp. behavior. The only time they make the news is one corp group is blackmailing another. For all of them the general public is fair game.
