| VBA and Excel Just a quick question. I want to assign the contents of a cell to a variable. The code i have is: variablename = Range("Cellreference").Value When i step through the code the variable holds the value within the procedure where it is assigned but as soon as the next procedure is called it returns to its default value of 0. I've declared the variable globally so why won't it hold onto the value? Have I missed something obvious?
