Silicon Cereal

If are partial to instigating the meeting of cereal and cold milk in a concave recepticle in the mornings, or perhaps at other non-conventional times of the day, what is your cereal mix of preference?
Do you also accept that carb. based foods are comfort foods a lot of the time?
How many of you take the said dish just before or after a strenuous session with a particularly testing CPU or rig setup, or any other task even?
What type of cereal do you take to fuel your mind and body ready for battling with OCing related or OC fourm posting related activity?

Also what type of cereal do you think the leading microchip companies would come up with if they had to diversify into a business with less stringent demands on their margins. Both the cereal and silicon businesses have similarities in that the raw material is dirt cheap in either case; the processes which the raw materials (and some wily marketing depts.) adding the requisite value.

I forsee AMD developing the value packed, tasty, not-so-nutritious and oblong Durons!
Yes! DURONS! Crunchy wafers with a uniform 0.15 micron latice structure. Best taken with ice cold bovine based coolant, guarateed to have you stepping (groan) to success at the start of every day! (Or some other such drivel. . . ).

Durons Mmmmmmmmm!
-licks lips in an exaggerated, saturated rich colour ad-world fashion -
I can hardly wait!

" Ma !? Ma !? Can we go down to the store and " 'clock" us some of them *NEW* Durons? "

Wink

Food for the brain, eh? I'm under orders to eat breakfast thesedays... orders from housemates sick of running in fear of my temper. My ideal choice of breakfast has traditionally been a solution of denatured plant alkaloids, oils and caffeine in water at approximately 350 Kelvin, served without contamination from the mammary product of bovine quadrupeds, nor extract of sucrose from sub-tropical cane nor temperate tuber.

However, it would appear that such an infusion requires a certain amount of carbohydrate in the blood supply to counterbalance the stimulation to one's circulatory system, pituitary and adrenal glands. I am under orders from those fed up of suffering a sharp verbal slap every morning that a large and healthy bowl of rolled oats, chopped nuts, sugar and milk must be consumed in a timely manner, well before I administer caffeine to myself. Muesli. And milk. Lots of milk.

:-D :-D :clown:
