| I thought a little visual aid would be helpful here..... This is not exactly what they look like but it is based on this design. It looks great on both Black and Beige Cases. The background looks gray in this pic but it's actually silver. There is a black border as opposed to the "beveled" edge and it is a "domed" plastic badge. http://www.colahsreunion.com/silver_blk_red_bev.gif

| Bacicly it's a postal voucher that you can get at your post office and send to us, which then can be used to purchase stamps in the country which our AOA rep. lives in so that they can send you your case badges.

| Here's a little writeup on IRCs.... http://www.upu.int/irc/en/ --------------------------------------- When one writes to a stranger and requests a reply, it is considered polite to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. This works well when both persons live in the same country. However, if they are from different countries, the enclosed postage stamp will not be valid. This technical problem was solved in 1906 when the Universal Postal Union, during its Congress in Rome, introduced the International Reply Coupon service. As the service began before the days of airmail, the earliest coupons could only be redeemed for a single-rate ordinary postage stamp to a foreign country. In terms of today's UPU Convention, International Reply Coupons (IRC) are exchangeable in all member countries for the minimum postage of a priority item or an unregistered airmail letter sent to a foreign country. The service is particularly popular among radio amateurs who commonly use it to confirm radio contacts elsewhere in the world. Stamp collectors also frequently use IRCs in exchanging philatelic information. The UPU's International Bureau processes approximately six million coupons each year and takes care of all accounting aspects. Developed countries are the largest users. The International Bureau does not sell ICRs directly to customers; they must buy them from their local post office. Although they are not obliged to sell ICRs, it is mandatory for all Posts of the UPU member countries to exchange the coupons. --------------------------------------------- ***ALSO - IRC FAQ....***From Here What is an IRC? An IRC is an International Reply Coupon. It is used when you send mail to a country other than your own and you want to pay for postage. It is redeemable in any country which participates in the Universal Postal Union. Think of it as "Stamp Currency." Where can I get one? IRC's are available from your local post office. You may also want to check your country's online postal resources, if available. How do I use it? As an autograph collector sending a request to a country other than their own, you would put one to three of them with your request and your self-addressed (BUT NOT STAMPED) envelope. The person who you send them to can take the IRC's to their local post office, and trade them in for the equivalent amount of non-registered air mail postage. This will allow them the courtesy of providing you a reply. As self-addressed stamped envelopes are a MUST when making an autograph request in your own country, a self-addressed envelope and the appropriate amount of IRC's are a MUST when making an autograph request outside your own country. How much are they? In the United States, each IRC is currently $1.05 and are purchased at your local post office. You will want to check with your own country's post office for your cost locally.
