| Cherry Blossom season in Japan. I don't know if any of you guys have heard of this, but in Japan, it's Cherry Blossom season. People get together and go to parks to enjoy the beauty of the blossoming blossoms and gorgeous spring weather. Once they arrive, they drink their @sses off and party hardy. Not your typical Japanese businessman image, but that's exactly what they do. Cherry Blossom viewing party.

| One of my dogs' names was Sakura...she was a damn good dog too...I sure miss her....slightly off topic I know..but, your thread reminded me of her.

| I didn't realize that this was such a huge event in Japan. We have quite a few ornamental cherry trees in Seattle. Some of them bloom in January! Their delicate flowers a reminder that Winter will end, even if not in this lifetime.
