a quick hi

I left a leaving message a while back before moving house. I still haven't moved into the new place yet so I'm still staying at my GF's.

Before movign I stripped my main rigs down. On removing the water block i broke a resistor off the main board. hopefully I can solder that back on and it'll still work. I also spillt some water on the graphics card, fortunately its distilled water and didn't leave any corrosion, I dried it off quickly. I have no idea if any of these parts are still working but once I move back in I'll be getting:
XP1700b for ~£30
Radeon 9700 Pro for £160 (second hand but mint condition).

Meanwhile its really sunny here in somerset andI've got a few weeks off to spend with my GF before I go to france for a holiday.

Life without a PC is great but its worrying that I feel better now I'm sat here in the library... Withdrawal?

Oh yeh and doesn't HL2 look amazing? Hence the Radeon9700.

It's good to hear from you, stigweed! Bruddah, you just have to be careful with components, unless you're wealthy. I hope you can repair your mainboard! After a while, living a "real life" away from PC's becomes tolerable. Or so I've been told.

Be careful on those mountains in France, ya hear?
