| Transparent Aluminum I thought this was something from startrek until i got an email refering to its actual use. So i wanted to see some pictures of it, i tried google, and all i got was LianLi cases.  I am curious to see this material. It is also interesting to see if this material can be used to make a "light-up" heatsink.

| from robbie's link: According to a post at Slashdot (News for Nerds) this is not transparent aluminum but transparent Alumina, which is aluminum oxide - Al2-O3. I dont think that would make for a very good conductor, but, someone else can correct me if Im wrong.
