| Post Count! It has been suggested a number of times that we would be better off WITHOUT an individual post count. That it adds no real benefit and encourages spam posting. For once I'm completely neutral. Harmless fun for those who like it, easily ignored for those who don't, or so it seems to me. HOWEVER I do like POLLS!!!

| I guess I'll withhold my vote as you didn't include the "It really doesn't matter" option. Beyond curiosity post count seems to hold no real value of any kind. Whether I have 25 posts or 2500 posts, I'm still the village idiot  (of course, if I had 2500 posts I'd be a VERY verbose village idiot)

| Ive been on some forums where people with a "low" post count are treated like stupid newbies and are not taken seriously. As this forum is by far and away the most flame free place im a member off I dont think that the post count is a hinderance. If some people like the post count then keep it, i couldnt care a less.

| I should have said this sooner, but I need a substantial motivation to overcome my inertia and actually change anything. Particularly when such change will deprive some of our members of something they see as positive. We seem to be locked in inertia as a group.....thus far.... Can we say "Kamikaze Komputing"?

| Have you considered dumping the post count for "For What it's Worth"? OCAU has dumped the post count for "The Pub" and it seems to work well.
