Unhappy Noooooooo!

The horror! I was messing around in disk management (trying to isolate a problem I've been having with SP3), and accidently deleted my partition that I use for storage. It contained my mp3's, and backups of all past installs. I just lost a lot of data.

Norton Systemworks can recover them if you haven't messed with that area of the drive. Norton saved my MP3's from a format.

I had gone from win ME to 2000. 2000 didn't fix the problem, which by the way was a crumbling core on a K6-2 450 @622? (It was somewhere in that area) I went back to ME (Why, God, Why!!!), and when I was formatting C before loading Win ME, I forgot that the C drive had been changed to NTFS format under 2K. Win ME can't read NTFS, so what it was calling C, was actually D. D is where my MP3 collection was storred without a backup (Other than the copy that my ex-fiance had.(demon B!+C% from he!!)) So I formatted years of downloading to oblivion. Enter Norton. Got everything back!

It was really quite a traumatic experience... I get all weepy just talking about it.. .*sniffle* I now backup my MP3's religiously.
