Yes he would, that is a great thing to know he would care that much, and he can eat as much as a big dog, so we usually call him garbage disposal, but he is really sweet, and he can sense who it coming up the driveway, and barks if it is someone we never knew, and he will bark if someone besides the family is in the yard..
great watch dog, but not guard dog, altho, he could probably bite the living mess out of someone's you-know-what...lol
