I went to this dive hole of a tavern the other day. For some reason, I found myself on Ashley Rd. during happy hour after some shopping at the Peninsula. Anyway, I had a couple of drinks and a steak sandwich. I left the place when drunk Australian guys started yelling stuff about soccer. BTW Staz, they didn't have any souvenir mugs. I got you a t-shirt instead.

I guess the last 12 years have not been so good to that place then. I was there is '92 and it was quite the place back then. Not upscale at all but definately touristy and not a dive. I would have compared it to LoneStar Steakhouse or Logans Roadhouse. Also they had realy good Bar B Que, and no drunk Austrailians in site (except those that worked there). Heck there was a wait to get a table when I went there.

Thank you for the effort. Sorry you didn't find the place as I left it, but time can do that.

I had bought that mug because most everyone that I went with did. Years later after I was out of the Navy it got broken and I realized it was one of the few souviners that I had.

I wonder how many other places I have visited have deteriorated since I last saw them.
