See what it's like to run at light speed

Due to the recent posts I thought this might be of some interest. Of course this would be impossible in real life, but in a computer simulation, it's pretty cool. It represents what you would see if you were able to 'slow down' what you saw so it was not just a big blur. A big blue shifted blur.

"The motherboard installation section essentially said "refer to motherboard manual for installation instructions". My motherboard manual of course said "refer to case manual for further installation instructions"."

Well, for the illustration they did reduce the speed of light in Thüreingen to about 30km/h (20Mph) so the surrounding isn´t moving at 300 000 km/s (which would be c). The point is of course the distorted vision when coming close to lightspeed, whatever that might be.
I must say I think I know what I mean, but reading my own words makes me confused! I hope you fare better

BTW, cool link! I might think about going to try the bikeride myself as it is on display here in Munich until 31/12.

It is indeed true, from the 4mb avi, you could theoretically see the back of your head, simply because that is how some parts of space are so warped.
