Robots!!

Quite possibly the scariest thing of all time. Worse than the apocolypse. Worse than being kidnapped and held for a £32m ransom. Even worse than going to school. My friends, I show you the future of the world; robots. Here is a collection of videos, showing just how advanced robots are becoming.

What do you think of it? Personally, I think they're gonna take over the world.

Not neccessarily robots, but this brings to mind aliens.
For all we know, this planet is infested with Extra Terrestrial life. But we may not be able to see it. Or the life may exist in another dimension.
Simply put, we expect to be able to see danger, to see threats and to see other "life". But we only exist in three dimensions. There may be many a thing which passes right in front of our face, but we just don't know about it.

The scary thing is, the likelihood is that if an alien does come across us, it won't kill us through weapons or through wanting to have us dead. But the way the alien functions is what may kill us.
For example, an alien which lives in 5 dimensions and passes our planet may exhale exhaustive amounts of CO2, throwing our planet into mass climate change.

Anyhoo, the same could apply to beings of our own creation. For all we know, Sony have invented a robotic electronic system which is invading and controlling our Computers, our TVs and our very lives. But we may just not know about it.
Until it's too late.

I'm confident we exist in more than 3 dimensions. The existence of other dimensions would go a long way to explain things which we cannot fully explain! LOL

we live in 4 at least (x,y,z,t in cartesian)

I think it is highly likely there's more those 4. They would be the 4 we are fully aware of as humans, but there could be others we are less aware of. In the same way we can't see infra-red light, we can't "see" every dimension.

String Theory suggeests something ridiculous like 24 Dimensions. But we won't even go there.

The fact is, nothing we say about Aliens is either right or wrong, because there is no way of finding out.
What is most likely to be wrong is our presumptions, such as aliens having limbs, internal organs, eyes and speech. The chances of aliens having these is next to nothing.
