| Blu-ray and HD DVD Anti-Trust confrontation ahead in EU? Written by Daniel Friday, 28 July 2006 EU Launches Antitrust Probe Against Blu-ray and HD DVD Tuan Nguyen (Blog) - July 28, 2006 2:52 PM European Commission said a full investigation may follow Just when we think that Blu-ray and HD DVD will start showing up in mass production, the two formats enter into more trouble, this time with the European Commission. According to reports, the European Commission believes that the companies that are backing each format may have licensing terms that breach European competition rules. | is this related to the, sony own sony pictures, and some other one, and will only back blu-ray cos, well they own it, thing, or something else?
