| Look at those nondescript wheels, Jaguar has a LOT of nerve. Some idiot with more money than sense-- of course it could have been an accident. Neighboring Sweden used to drive on the left in days of old.

| Pah silly drivers bet they hadn't been driving it long. There is a small problem with buying a new one, Jag didn't make many of them (a few hundred tops) and they've been out of production for over 10 years now. However *laughs* it never cost a 7 figure sum in GBP (£) The only cars every to cost more than a million £ are the AMG Mercedes CLK GTR, and the Bugatti Veyron. Even the original Mac F1 came in under a million and well stole the Jag's thunder. The Jag was the fastest road car at 220mph (hence its name) for a couple of weeks back in the mid 90's until the mac f1 came out and topped its top speed with 237mph and a slightly lower price tag and much more drivable. I didn't actually think there was many of these Jags left on the road, most of them are in museums. Edit just looked it up, 281 out of a planned 350 were ever made / ordered. Alot of people backed out in buying them because of the mac f1. Also a fair few were made in LHD

so buy a used i EU or anywhere else is expensive to. the price was 15000000dkr in 1993 for that car and that is alot of money.. a Porsche carrera gt cost 10326685dkr (£940499) today, here in denmark. and 1£ is 10.98dkr. my old 1998 alfa 156 v6 24v cost me 180000dkr (£16400 ) last year to buy. and that was cheap. new price in 1998 was 430000dkr (£39162). so cars are not cheap here ![]()

| They are just rediculously priced but i guess it must be that way for a reason.

| You sure its real? There are about 20 of the things driving around Brisbane every day, and two different companies producing them in this city alone. The XJ220's that are made here are massively better than the originals, with the option of carbon fibre / kevlar composite bodies, four wheel drive systems, and running anything from Toyota Supra twin turbo engines, to Lister Storm 7L V12 engines. The GT40, Cobra, F40, and many others these local places do are simply impossible to pick, and nearly all make the genuine article look like a joke in comparison. Even a Maclaren F1 with the 3 seat configuration and the driver in the middle.

| There is also some talk of them doing a BMW M12. That has always been my personal dream car, and it would appear that while one of them was having its body checked and restored a couple of years back, some sneaky pete made some tooling for it without telling anyone. That tooling has been replicated and sold to various people over the years, but because you could only produce the body, the tooling was completely useless. The entire top of the car is made of glass, with glass pop outs, and no roof or pillars. The result of this is a car that needs more chassis design work and reinforcement than any convertible to date, as there must be absolute zero flex in the roof section at all. Its a car thats nearly impossible to build However, one of our local replica / kit car builders has done an initial build, and is working out the kinks in the design, with a flexible transparent composite roof.

| Yes dsio is 100% real. You cant get number plate on a replica here. or a home-made car. not even a westfield /caterham/Donkervoort/Noble and so on.
