I think mrpcman posted a pic that shows that it's snowing in Seattle. Maybe I'm blind, but the photo doesn't portray the falling snowflakes all that clearly.

Ya see, it's been Spring since 11:34 AM. And it's snowing, at least it was at 2 PM in my neighborhood. It's Spring, but it's snowing. This kinda bugs me, 'cause I got my electricity bill for the last two months today. Supercalifragilisticexpialodocious. Ten years ago it was ~$28. Today, $80. For a one bedroom apartment. Thank you Enron, you screwed everyone except your execs. Does this have to be the American way?

It snowed all day here today.

It was so wet it took 6 hours for it to stick to anything, but when it did...

i cancelled all my plans tonight because i'm still kinda sick, but the main reason is because i have a feeling this is going to be one icy night..this i learned from those long winter nights in AK.

Is that typical this time of year?
I'm flying out that way, oakland and portland next week on business, and I want to be prepared.

in seattle, that's not typical any time of the year. it's happening everywhere though. I just talked to a few freinds of mine in Anchorage and they said it just dumped over 3ft in 24hrs.

One of the weather talking heads said it was far too warm to snow in Portland, and it snows in the Bay Area maybe once every fifteen years. The only reason we're getting snow in Seattle is because the cold air that sweeps down from the Frasier River valley in British Columbia has made it farther South than usual, as well as later in the "Winter" than it usually does.

The snow in Seattle won't amount to much, and it should melt away tomorrow. Gotta love baseboard heating, it's so economical.
