I'm thinking that they do have some good points, but these are far outweighed by the bad ones.

Trying to legislate email is dumb. A better solution would be optional validated email accounts where you prove you are who you say you are which would be the only kind accepted for certain things like auction sites, job applications etc..

I actually think this is a great idea. Have a validated email so to speak.

They come up with these laws, using terrorist bombings as an excuse.

How is the lack of an email address going to deter a terrorist? It won't.

Organised criminals and terrorists don't use email or mobile phones, as it is.
