Can you pass the third grade?

Here is s little map my wife sent. I need to go back to school it appears.

Nup. Highest I can get is 38 with aid of a map, but I live in Australia.

I got 44 first time.

Second time I finished.

I was always weak on the New England states. I know New York, Maine, and Rhode Island by shape, and then I have to work out the others.

Well I did a bit better than last time, but still didn't pass...sigh...it took me the first ten minutes to figure out how to play the game... I was going to do it again, but that would be 4th grade wouldn't it...?

OH! I also kept dropping them and I broke my pencil!

Did I mention the "Red states"? I don't do Red States, they have lost all geographic significance for mankind!

Look, this test, it doesn't have anything to do with summer school does it? I don't do summer school, it's an abomination of the Red States!

I either timed out or I ran out of choices or the test lost faith in me...I just want you all to know I didn't give up! I was prepared to humiliate myself utterly in order to complete the task assigned. (I'm no longer goal and hence no longer test oriented)

I got 18 right before they pulled the plug thus ending a not very promising career as a travel guide...

( I'm pretty sure the Grand canyon is in a Red State and that's half the tours booked!)

One good thing did come out of this! Judging from that test, I'm real sure I'd enjoy 3rd grade more now than I did 51 years ago. I think I'd be more open to the experence...besides I always wanted to date my 3rd grade teacher...We could go beach and draw maps of Amercia in the sand.... without the red states I'm sure I could remember most of the rest...We'd lay upon the beach, my head in her lap and just like in the movie "Harvey" she would stroke my head and say,... "There there, There there".

Anyone else missing summer? ":O}
