Glasgow Airport Terrorist Attacks

An attempted terrorist attack has been made on Glasgow Airport.

A blazing Jeep Cherokee attempted to drive into a Terminal before exploding.

Thankfully, unlike the IRA, these clowns don't seem to have access to explosives and weapons.

My fair government institutes false terrorist "attacks" often enough. Doubt that the British Office of "Better keep the people frightened so that our assault on civil rights seems OK" is above similar actions. Not saying that any particular attack is faked.

Possibly, MI5 are at it again, trying to create an emergency, so that the public will rally around the new Prime Minister early on in his career. Its 1984 all over again. I bet the so-called terrorists even had fire retardant clothes on, so it only looked like they were in distress and had set themselves on fire, to help the English people feel intelectually superior to the terrorists.

Thats what I'd do at least.

I bumped in to the new PM, Gordon Brown at Stanstead Airport, London. Although, hew was Shadow Chancellor at the time.

Was a bit of a weird one, the airport had only just been built. We were the only 2 passengers there. The only other 2 people around, were the ladies who checked us in. The lady who checked him in didn't knwo who he was until his name appeared on her computer screen. doh.

Scruffy looking guy with a dandruff problem. I dare say he has bought a new suit, now that he is a world leader.

I drove past the airport today. The travel news said there were to be queues of traffic in both directions on the motorway (M8). There were no queues by the time I got there, around 5pm. The airport was fully open as of 1520 this afternoon.

They keep banging on about how the IRA never bombed Scotland, maybe that's because there are/were too many sympathisers in Scotland, but they never seem to take this into account.

Also with regards to not having access to real explosives, when they got the driver (who ran around on flames trying to attack people, until grounded by a member of the public) into hospital they found a "device" strapped to him and had to evacuate the hospital as well.

Really though, I think maybe now is the time to start thinking not so much about how we can stop these attacks, but why we are being attacked in the first place.

eh, three attackers in a few days with a total of 0% successes. fact is with this attack if we didn't know better we very well could have thought it was just insanely bad driveing.
also the reason we are being attacked is not because we provoked them, sure we have attacks due to reasons. like no doubt this is a response to the new PM coming in, or GB involvement in iraq. But stopping these things would in no way get rid of the problem, simply make it worse.

I've no intention of changing my life, just because some fanatic religious fruitcake wants me to. I'd sooner die first, whilst giving them the one finger salute.

exactly, many people (including most in my school) for some reason think we did something to provoke them.

Well, that makes my argument all the stronger. Imagine how many failed attacks it would take to convince the /Scottish/ people that they are intelectually superior to the Terrorists. Next bombing, they won't just be on fire, they'll be carrying long wooden planks, spinning around hitting eachother in the back of the head, and accidentally smacking eachother in the balls.

Its all staged. I can smell it a mile away.

I think actually that this is the wrong attitude. I don't mean that anyone should change their lifestyle.

I think that there is so much anger towards the UK now for backing the US in the war in Iraq, I think maybe the next time the US wants to invade a country to secure the oil supply the UK government should think a little more.
