| Thanks guys. Gee, you didn't forget this year!!! Been off line for about 36 hrs. (or something like that). Sometimes I think the things that happen to my don't happen to anyone else. Althought I know is not truth. A little recolection: I was playing with some hardware (mobos). Try to install my Opty 170 to a Speed Mach 939 but found out (after the install) that the board doesn't support dual cores. So I keep on playing. now with and old Asus P4S 800 that was sitting around for a while. Try to use the Windows install of the Speed mMach but ir was a no go. So I install it again. Everything was OK until I remenber that I have a new Asus P4S 800 (on the box) and take the P4 out and put it on the new board. It would not pass the post, stay in a loop. Also one of the "legs" of the intel heatsink goes 'CRACK'. After a couple of hours I give up and pick up a BIOSTAR P4M80-M4 (also in the box) and try again. Nothing. After a while I get a "little upset", put away the Intel crap and pickup a PC Chips soccket A. This time It was worse. It went to the same loop and won't even allow me to make a new Windows installation. Keep trying until I get fedup and leave it all alone. Today I go back to the original board (my dad's) also a PC Chips M848A and here I am. Boy that was a "lot of fun". Anyway thanks a lot Chris and the rest of the gang.
