I went ahead and got a new toy!!! (hey it's my birthday)

It's a new RC car. I got it off my buddy Rob (he's having some money trouble) So I got a decent deal on it. New they are about $400 I paid $250. It's an 1/8 scale so it's nice and big. Fast too. Only has about 2 hours of drive time on it as well.

I'll probably mod the crap out of it as I go. (parts are expensive!) I've already broke the main drive gear. Replaced it with a metal one. (both of them it's a 2 speed) About $50.

Wish I had a little more time to play with my RC. It's been sitting in the closet for well over a year. Not enough hours in the day to do everything I enjoy.

As my race cars get faster the time and money to maintain them has gone up, which means time at work has had to go up on about the same scale.

Did manage to get some paint laid on one of my cars so I'll have to throw up some pics of that when I get it out in the sun.
