Exclamation Ashamed of myself!

I've belonged to this forum since January. I would visit once in a while but all I used it for was what I could get about my Epox 8k5a2+ motherboard. Nothing else. Pure selfish tunnel vision. I didn't even take the time to look around the rest of the forum or even consider that I might contribute. I discovered this morning that there is more here than info on my motherboard and that I might give something back instead of being a leach. I feel like a jerk.
I've got a little time to make up for-best get to it.

Drop and give me 50 posts!

no problem, we all come and go, ask questions, answer questions, post rediculous subject matter, and do research.
The reason I've stuck around for so long is because there are many reliable interactive members. There's got to be at least 40-50 regulars that you see posting everywhere. That make a good community. Not to mention I've been helped sooooo many times with all of my computers. If you read all of my computer problems, almost every single one of them have good results.
Also if you just go to the main forum page and check the numbers of currently viewing, every forum has 2-11 people viewing it. Those are great statistics.
Welcome to the AOA forums

Contributions of content are always welcome! Can I ask what kind of creature inhabits your avatar?

Looks like he might be one of my cousins. I seem to recall having a Gizmo-Wizard as a distant relative.

He is a funny little guy I picked up in my electronic travels. He has a low patience for dumb and a very high tolerance for the weaker of us and the drunks. He is closer in personality to Loki than Merlin, so watch your daughters, hide you wallets, and be sure to hide your dogs!
He will cast you a low grade spell for a few cold ones and good conversation.

I just Googled for Epox forums and take a guess what came up? Even though Epox, and that particular forum, are as dead as my great grandmother-I would poke my head in once in a while. Sorta like gum on your shoe, couldn't get rid of it.

welcome, and enjoy all that AOA has to offer. as for EP-8K5A2+, mine is still
running strong! It is at a friends house. he made me an offer and now a dual
core has taken its place. sorry to see Epox go away, their boards were the bomb.

you will be 'encouraged' to "Fold" for Team 45, a form of 'initiation' here!

Mine hasn't given me a single hiccup since I bought it. Stable as a rock and a nice platform for OC. Time to move up to dual core-it's gotten cheap enough and since I don't OC any more, I didn't have to put that into my decision for a new mobo. But I'll keep the 8k5a+ around. Back up. Mabe I'll build one in a fish net or something else weird
It's to good to just put in a box. I've got a Chaintech doing that.
