Summertime

The first day of summer is coming to a close. I hope it treated all of you well. That goes double for those of you in the east dealing with the floods. Summertime is here.

It is kind of a guilty feeling. Not much but I get a little twitch when I'm watching the news and seeing what othrers, some you have a relationship with, are haveing to cope with at the very same moment I've got the BBQ going, it's 75, and the brew is cold. there is a little twitch.

Some of the generators are having problems dealing with the heat here. The power to my tent has been going out every afternoon and comes back on about 6 PM. According to the little thermometer I've got, it was just over 120F in my living area today. They say that you take what you've got for granted until you don't have it, and I don't think I'll be taking A/C for granted anytime soon.

I was reading my wife your post and the first thing she says is-"I'd have to head for the Mall or somewhere."
She didn't here your post-she heard tempreture only. We not only take our A/C for granted-we take for granted that we can just go somewhere else. Stay as cool as you can!

I take it totally for granted untill I need it, then realize I don't have it!

The down side of cool summers is that when it does crack 90...I come apart like a popcycle! Hope they get those generators cooled down soon!
