YouTube privacy at risk in Google-Viacom ruling

Written by Daniel
Thursday, 03 July 2008

Google scored a legal victory in keeping its search source code secret from Viacom, but YouTube users were not so fortunate with their privacy.

From what I read Viacom has direct access to all information about every user regardless of whether the material is copyrighted. I am somewhat speechless over this decision.. Getting real tired of copyright rulings.

I had a recent copyright debate with a person that takes pictures of cars out at the race track. He took a photo of my car and posted it up on his website, along with my full name, address and home phone number. When asked to remove it, he at first refused, siting copyright. After a discussion about me posting a picture of him and his kids on the web with his address below it, it was removed..

The quality of Judges from the Supreme Court on down has suffered greatly from appointments made on the bases of political and/or religious affiliation rather than judicial competence.... I doubt we've had a more lack luster court in 50 years!

We have an attorney General who refuses to prosecute CRIMES! We have a Speaker of the House who openly declares that no matter what She won't impeach. We have candidates already moving to make permanent the crimes of GB.
We will have revolution in this country or we will be slaves...imho

The rich aren't going to give back what they have stolen!
