How the crap are you supposed to read anything on that tiny screen?! I find that anything less than 1024x768 on a PC is painful. I don't mind my Palm, but I don't have web access (it's just an m100).

Avantgo. It lets you sychronize your Palm with websites. It pretty cool when you have nothing to do on the train.

A friend of mine at work has the Compaq iPaq thing, color and tons of cool features, eats the battery life like candy but is virtually a mini pc.

Um, I don't take any trains. I usually drive places. And Johnny Law kinda frowns on me reading and driving at the same time.

I used to use Avantgo. These days my mobile time is taken up by spread sheets and word processing files. Both my wife and I use TRG Pros. Prior to that it was oveclocked HP 200LXs with 32 megs of on board memory. Hard to imagine a fast paced life without them.

There are lots of PDAs that use Windoze CE although I feel the Palm OS is better suited for PDA use. Find out more than you wanted to know at The Gadgeteer.

that's pretty sweet. I'm on the go alot so a PDA would be nice for me, but i would like one that i could make cell phone calls from, but i can't find a service that supports alaska.
