....and just one of the things which is keeping me away from here.

The main site itself is a site which used to be devoted to providing support to teachers and students for the ICT alevel offered by one of the 3 major UK exam boards. However it's now expanded to cover 3 more qualifications, most notably GCSE and with these additions comes me as a site admin. Scary.

Don't go to the actual site btw - we've just moved domain names and servers and stuff and it's a bit broken linky. Plus we've not updated the front end design yet as we're concentrating on the back end first. Front end will be my job over Christmas.

The above forum has recently been added and after more than a couple of evenings playing with the code, modding it, adding hacks, learning the language as I go along, all I can say is I now fully appreciate just how much work goes into AOA! I'm so looking forward to when the students start posting and taking pot shots at their teachers. Moderators are going to be an unfortunate necessity for us.

Myself and my partner in crime, Glen Millbery (the site creator, site owner, teacher, alevel examiner type person and oh yes, my boss) appreciate feedback. (Glen will appreciate it when I tell him about to. ) So if anyone goes and sneaks a peek feel free to pick holes in it!

No, i'm not plugging the site, and anyway it won't apply to 99.9% of the membership here, just asking for a little input and letting you know that my sudden drop in posting here is slightly justified. Plus i'm stupidly proud of it, especially as it's the first experience I've had with ASP. Still in major tweaking mode with it. Tell me it's good or i'll cry.

Two things (constructive input):

1) Tone down the blue background.
2) The logo on the top left should probably have transparent back ground.

Other than that, its NICE! Can I have a tigger topic in there?

Like i said, still tweaking.

1) Colour scheme will be changing once we change front end of main site and will then coordinate with it. But I agree it's a bit bright.

2) Logo is just a place holder for now, replaced the generic snitz logo, and will be altered when I get around to it. It's annoying me too.

I'm not sure about the tigger topic. The boss might not approve.
