Overclockers.co.uk

DO like these guys - good range and friendly

Had to RMA my Abit - I was late getting it to them (they say 10 days from receipt of RMA number) still no problems, turned around and back with me within a week.

Great service experienced here too. Bought a ThermalRight, Papst Fan, IDE Cable and 512MB TwinMOS PC3200. All arrived promptly. Memory turnout out to be faulty and one call to support who just checked that I knew there was a problem with it ("Have you run memtest? Have you tried parts in isolation") got me an RMA and the memory was replaced within a few days.

All their stock seems to be premium items and the descriptions have always been accurate for me and friends.

Email them for case badges, they sent me 6.

I agree also, their service is top rate. Ordered my mobo from them, had it here next morning.

I loved Overclockers... but now... our relationship is bumpy.

At least they don't use City Link as a carrier.

Me! I use them every day at work sending anything between 1 & 200 parcels a day and In my experience they are as good as TNT, Parcel force, Business Post, Amtrack or Parceline

Luckily for me the City Link Depot is 10 min from my house, so any drops I've missed I can collect pretty soon after.

OcUK are ok, have some great prices on Thermalright HSF's at the moment too!

I hate City Link. I really do. We use them at work and they cause some serious problems.

Lucky... City Link are too "hit or miss" for me, and the Drivers are not usaully friendly. And for the love of God, they need to invest in some attempted delivery cards!

I have to agree with you on the delivery cards as they always say they leave them and rarely do, but i guess weve been lucky with the 1000's of parcels weve sent not getting broken

Thumbs down

I have to disagree with most of you.
ocUK in my view are as bad as companies get. I am one of a handful of people in my area alone that have had bad experiences. I would much prefer to buy off Micro Direct or eBuyer, who offer similar, often betetr pricing, and no doubt the range of goods on eBuyer is huge.
See my post here to see why I disagree.
