To those still using the -local flag
Here is a statement from Guha, one of the people working on the F@H project:

But if you have even one GUI version running on your machine, then all clients (except one, which will use the registry information) need -local, or they'll all have their work messed up.

Isn't that to do with dual processor rigs running multiple clients to load both cpu's? I have used console in the past and GUI now and have never needed that flag.

Im using 2 console clients on my daulie and I have no problems.
