Dual Processor

Ok... I know this has been asked elsewhere, but...
how do I set up F@H to use dual processors?

I know I need the text client, in separate directories, and "-local" switch.... other than that I'm lost. I don't even know how to set up the text client. How do I configure it for user and team?

You setup the text client using the -config switch. As for running dual'ies, I can't say for certain that the application supports it. But try it out. Make two different Folding@home directories, set the program up in both directories, and use the -local switch to make sure they don't interfere with each others work...

Good luck!

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure each install needs it's own user ID too . . .

You are correct Jeff. Each needs a diff. ID#

Something I have found to work well instead of using the -config switch is to go ahead and just run it with the generic setup. before it gets a chance to load the 1st w/u kill the program, go to the folder and del the config file. Restart the prog. and it will run the manual setup we are all used to from the first couple of versions.

Hope this helps !!!
