thanks for the welcome!

i am only runnng 1 processor at the moment, barton xp2500+, i have been running at stock for a couple of weeks, trying to build my folding score and save my cooling and psu frustrations . with retail hsf my temps are stable 53~54 degC.
i have a thermaltake smart fan waiting to be used and some wet & dry paper waiting to polish my cm-heatpipe, then i will start fiddling again.
my k6 500 would not run the folding program so it turns out seti albeit very slowly.

i will hopefully resurrect my 7aja2 board and xp1700+ pal very soon. i NEED to boost my ranking again . 7000th to 110,000th

but i suppose my team has gone from 1456th to 22nd though

I've got one of them too. It runs the screensaver client, but very slowly. For some reason it crashed when just using the console version. It normally just makes the deadlines but no more.

i have just managed to get my k6 500 running the folding, i don't know why it did'nt before anyway. seems to work on both the graphical and console.
i have also updated to version 3.25 and specified the force asm, so now have sse enabled.
i can't seem to make the electron microscope work yet though

I think forceasm was the flag which crashed me. One of the guys who know what they're speaking about will be able to explain probably.

What's not working for you with EM?

You're contributing all right. You just went through 200

Did you get EM sorted out yet?

yeah, it does seem to be whipping through the units esp since using the -adv methods.
i did up my my speed a bit again the other day as well, a conservative hike in the multiplier from 11 to 12.5 ( thinks it's an xp2800+)with fsb still 166. i raised the vcore to 1.675 in bios and it displays as more stable 1.65 in the digi-doc monitor. my temps stayed below 60 but i have placed an extra fan ( on a cardboard box) aiming into the case and i t dropped a further few degrees. 55 right now

re. the em monitor, the few times i tried to set it up it seemed to freeze up and stop responding i will probably try again to configure it once i have built my score up a bit more.
i seem quite happy with the graphical console running in the task bar, i can easily keep a check on the progress.

i can't beleive how slow my k6 500 is though , in all this time it is only up to 67/400 on its first unit! my other one has banged out 6-7 units in the same time

glad to be in the team!

Yep, mines slow too. But they all count. I just like to think its taking it's time and doing a thorough job
