Average Time for a 500 WU to complete

What are your average times, just so I can compare with mine

What protein?
Different proteins have different point values, and so take different amounts of time... All of my machines are running the text console, so I don't see the same things.

Ah right, just that when I did my first protein, P651_TZ4_EXT (size 400) it took from 6.15pm and finished at 1.25pm the next day, that seemed quite long for the size, but just must be a more complex protein

Just thought it would be faster

P651_TZ4_EXT (size 400) is a tinker.... If you have box with 3dnow or SSE, you should enable gromacs.... add "-advmethods" and your point scoring should go through the roof.

So are mine Andy. That can happen from time to time, as can getting a Genome WU.

BUT, the last three I've down loaded are 651's as well. I still can't upload anything to server 144 which is where a fair proportion of the Gromacs are coming from. I got some WU's up to 110 last night but it was very slow.

Hopefully, it is just a glitch at Stanford's site.. Every once in a while, some servers get overwhelmed...

If it keeps getting tinkers, post back. Hopefully your machine will get gromacs again on the next upload.

Must have been a glitch Steve. Got all the queue uploaded and back to Gromacs.
