| F@H thoughts for the day... Why is it that an 18 cu.m room heats up faster with just an XP2100 running than with an XP2100, an Athlon800 and a P266 all running? It doesn't make physical sense...
An XP2100+ @stock processes 1% of a P1039 protein in 6 minutes. An Athlon 800MHz processes 1% of a P1039 in 55 minutes. The two chips are 3 years apart, therefore under Moore's Law, only 2 doublings of processing power should've occurred. I.e. each % should take 15 minutes. Was Moore wrong?
Who is right? Fourier or Arctic Silver?
