You know what, I hate that. FAH is kept on a separate partition and I've done it a couple of times when reinstalling windows.

Sure can. In fact, I keep the access codes to the NSA's mainframe on a thumbdrive. I like teasing CIA and FBI agents with it.

Doesn't seem to be crashing. Thinking I must have shutdown probs and that the files don't get written properly.. Anyone using the Linux client have any advice for shutting down?

i know how that one goes, i just cant wait to hear my parental units complain when i got 2 folders, my main, my bro's and the family cpu running, at least folders dont require monitors but hopefuly my production will get a nice boost from adding 2 cpus that do nothing but fold, they maybe slow but everything counts

Another way I've just discovered to NOT increase your production...Let your friends P4 system fold for you! Its a P4 2.66Ghz and has been folding for the past week (4-7hrs/ day)and hasn't finished ONE work unit yet!

Laz.

Indeed some strange problems you've had with that P4 Laz. I'm sorry I couldn't be of any help!

I've managed to get it folding by copying the F@H Graphical Client from my own PC to it. It then downloaded the correct core, FAH Core_78, and its been folding ok since last week.
The problem arises if I download either the Graphical or Client straight to the machine and then it tries to get a core to work with, it gets a FAH Core_ca core which keeps crashing.

Laz.
