Go ahead and FOLD! I leave the client running on both my gaming rig and my multimedia box. Doesn't seem to bother my games at all, just runs fewer cycles while you are doing other work. ANd there is nothing like the feeling of seeing your rank move from 170ish to 150ish in a week or two!

I've been folding since the latter part of 2003, originally with just my desktop p4, then i added my network server, then my own laptop. Quite a while later i managed to convince my mate to fold under me with his p4 and around the same time i gained a second laptop which if i could fix i could keep! i suceedid in seconds to fix it and its been folding like a champ ever since.
Rank wise i scaled up into the top 100 fast, top 50 took alot more effort and recently i've moved into the top 25 of aoa, and top 4000 of all folders of all time! next target 1000 units and 100k points! both of which should come some time in april.

When I first started folding seriously another housemate of mine had a little rivalry going (he's the evil one refered to in other parts of the forum!) his folding nick is charltonchris and well he lost the battle but won the war *grr*
