| Question about Service Installer.. I installed it earlier.. it seems to be running the fah500-console.exe file but not the 2nd file it usually runs. When I double click on the service this error comes up. Configuration Manager: The specified device instance handle does not correspond to a present device. *edit* Stopped the service.. ran the core manually so that it would download all needed files.. restarted the service. That seemed to fix the problem.. still came up with the error but it seems to be folding so not a big deal.

| are u running 64 bit windows? thats the only problem i see that might happen since 64bit windows might handle the registy a bit different and the installer relies on the registy to make the service work what do u mean by double clicking on the service? could you post the section of the log that shows the error?

| No, the installer has done the same thing for me on 2 Windows XP Service Pack 2 machines and 1 Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 machine.. I downloaded the first one in the post. I just install the program.. edit the client for me.. and that's about it. Whenever I go to start the service that error occurs.. Will try and get something posted once I get to work.

| Ended up just using the service installer from the F@H home page.. finally got the 4th machine running as a service and my own.. up until now I was just loading the console.

| well you should see the console and a f@h core running in your task manager. if those two are there its running. cpu usage should also be at 100% if ou havent changed anything after installing it. but if youre just checking if its running by looking at your points output, i think ive just found my source of 6 extra CPUs under my name lol
