How does F@H work for machines without direct internet connection?

I can install F@H on more machines.. but the problem is the user has to authenticate to a firewall to get out to the internet.

Will it work like this..

The PC folds.. folds.. folds until it's done, once the user authenticates to the firewall it'll upload the results? Until then it'll just sit? Do I have that right?

Until the internet connection is available the machine will be stuck ! No new WU's (logic) and no sending. Once it see's the connection it'll send and receive and start working !

I know that.. but will it process an already downloaded wu even if it's not in the internet?

It will fold. but it cannot upload or download. After the connection is made it will process the fold data and dl the new data. And it will fold again....

Only wrinkle is, it may require the Internet connection to be active for up to an hour before it sends the WU back and gets a new WU. When a WU is finished, it tries to send. If it can't, it waits an hour and then tries again.
