Folding pcs

I have one pc folding right now and I have a question about another one i want to have folding. I won't be able to get it to the internet and I was wondering If I could get it to fold anyway. I fold under the name Roadkill431.
The only way I can transfer data to it is by floppy disks. It is a gateway 2000 with a pentium 1 with 64 mbytes of ram and windows 98. Is it even worth getting it to fold.

Thanks, Rcoolrob

You would have to fold the timeless WUs, as there is no way it would fold fast enough to do regular ones.

I'm pretty sure you can download WUs to another console, copy the data files to a floppy and then transport them to anther machine, although I don't know the exact mechanism. Hopefully one of the others will be along and tell you how to go about it.

yeah, i may as well try it. but what what i really want is to find something for that machine to do and not be dead weight. but with it only being windows 98 and not even SE it can't do much.

what you would need to do is set another FAH instance running on a pc connected to the internet to download a WU (goes into the "work" folder), then copy that to disk or other storage device and copy across to the other one. Once that has finsihed, bring it back to the other pc for uploading to stanford. You can even download several at a time to avoid having to do it too many times

(in order to do that, just take the work folder away, and the client connected to net will get another one, and so on and so forth)
