is a good thing!

Not really, most of the top 10 are running more than 4 cpus!

I run my core 2 duo all the time as well as a 1GHz P3,
part time i have a pentium d 930 and a 2.4GHz P4 and finally a 2GHz celeron

Thats 7 Cpu, of which 3 run 24/7. I'll be bringing back a 1.4 PM, and a 1.13 P3M shortly.

All of this is about 700 ppd which is around 7/8th on the daily average for our team.

you wanna "WOW"?

FOR A total of number of 278 videocards, ATI X1XXX GPU's folding has more folding power than

all the 7660 MAC's currently folding(by 5x)
all the 16908 linux boxes(by 1 teraflop)

with a total crunching power of 21 teraflops.
It would take only abt 2100 gpu's to equal the power of ALL the windows machines.

NOW THAT'S POWER EFFICIENCY. AND NVIDIA'S GPU'S CAN'T DO IT.

And people wonder why videocards consume 150watts.

Apple G5 is abt 300w/cpu.

Now, for all those that wonder, does AMD buying ATI really sound like a bad idea?

And for those that wonder about the future cpu's that are coming from the new AMD...
