Overnight my rigs passed the half a million points mark

If only the smp core wasnt quite so tempremental i'd of been there weeks ago!

To all below me in the ranks just try and catch me

hehe EOC predicts you can hold me off for another 5.9 months. however it is gravely mistaken

My gpu core is back up and running so I shall be seeing a boost of a few hundred pts/day coming from that.

However I have just ordered my secret weapon. A core 2 quad q6600 for £150+vat

bargain!

On the 18th of August i rolled past 700k

With the addition of the Quad core it seems i'm now approaching 100k/month!

Very sweet. About how much is your quad good for?
I would guess around 2.5-3k a day.

He's not SteveI is about right, If I get a trouble free (no core errors and not much cpu activity) run like the week begining 12th/8/07 where i scored 26,550 pts (3793 daily average) a very large chunk of that came from the Quad core.
The PS3 does around 900points/day which leave 2900/day between the quad core and my other cpu's (gpu is offline atm as an experiment to whether smp or smp + gpu is faster)

The other cpu's i have is a 2.2 P4 (24/7) which is only good for at most 100ppd, and a 2GHz core 2 duo laptop which is only on a few hours a day and so does 100-200ppd.

This leaves 2.6k/day approx to the quad core. It does 1792 point units in about 15-16 hours at present which is in excess of 100 points per HOUR.

If you look at my stats history on EOC, you'll see a couple of days at the end of June where I had problems with the SMP core (so Quad was offline) i only scored about 1250 ppd!

It's only running at 3GHz at present, its going to be a new mobo and more radiators (/ fans on rads) before it goes much faster.

On the note of the ps3 its just had a software update which it now runs new units worth 340pts a time instead of 273, it's doing them in the same 7 1/2 hours each
