171.64.65.58 dead

This collection server is rejecting for two days now and it leaves me kinda dead in the water-have 9 WUs to upload and can't. See this-

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html

Not only that, the folding-community board has a login problem(it's known and reported on the homepage) and only "remember me" users can post.

Anyone here know anyone there they can contact? Maybe somebody can give the server a nudge.

Unfortunately it is pretty common for servers to go down there. They do eventually get them back up.

I had to switch to 4x single instances of folding the other day as the smp allocation server went down and i was being directed to 0.0.0.0 for a while. I couldnt leave a 3GHz core 2 quad sat idle

14 cores waiting to upload now... 5 of them for 3 days already.

By this evening it will be 21 cores. Don't know what's going on with the servers. I guess I'm lucky they aren't SMP WUs or they'd run out of time...

Edit:
There is a known problem with the server above and this one: 171.65.103.163 since 8/4

And coincidentally most users cannot currently post on the folding-community board, because of a problem there. Mods from the f-c board have been monitoring on other forums to help with user problems. For folding farms like mine I'll prolly be OK as there is lots of time on the WUs...(although I'm now 2 and 3 deep in many of the queues), but for SMP users it's getting to be a problem to upload in time with the tighter deadlines. If you are in trouble with SMP deadlines try reading what a user named uncle_fuzzy did today:

http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r187...yorg~start=160

Maybe it might get you out of trouble.
