down 3 Folding rigs

I've let one go to my mom. hers' bit the dust, it was an older Compaq, 800 Duron. put my complete 2.0 Thornton rig
in the house where it will be on about an hour a day.. she's 82 and doesn't understand the part about leaving it on.
one is off to upgrade my friends kids computer. it won't fold much more than the other one.
#3 will go to the office where we only have dial-up. at least this one will continue to fold.
not exactly the plan I had in mind, tho it makes room for my upgrade to AM2 or even more scary, an Inhell quad.
I have been looking at a dual MP2400 but don't think the performance is as good as an AM2.
my birthday is getting closer and all I need four cores to replace the three. I see how the $$$$ shakes out.

Sorry to hear bud. Yeah my bday is quickly comming as well. My PC is starting to give me problems and WILL need to be replaced soon. Only thing is I don't really have any spare parts to build one. So Everthing will be brand new. Good cuz my PC will be more recent bad cuz It's going to cost me alot.

adding to the problem are random 'hangs' on the dual core rigs. one core will hang and/or fail to send results
and download a new project. it's annoying to say the least. it's bad enough to know the machines won't fold.
now this problem. any clues????

It could be lots of things, so it's better not to guess. If you can post the log here maybe I can take a look. If it's on the SMP cores then post the log in the SMP thread.

just the 'could not connect to collection server'. 'could not send results for unit completed November 27' on another machine.
at work now so will upload log files later.
