Needing help

Now, I know this is short notice and all, but I'm gonna mention it anyway.

You all know I Fold for Team 32.
Overclockers.com - some of you know the place.

Each year we polk fun at Max PC and have a "Sub Team" race.
It's called the Chimp Challenge. - Sub Team is named Folding Monkeys.

Max has one too, named maximum_monkeys.

Each year, we race to 1 million points.

This year is 5 million points.

The first year we (T32) lost.
Last year we stomped them (literally) 10:1.

This year, OCAU /MaxPC/ [H] and T32 are racing!

I would like to Personally Invite ALL of the AOA Folding Team
to come and join Team 32 for some good Smack Talk and Fun Folding for this event.

Please join us, Team= 32 / username= T32monkeys

In return, I'm sure I can swing some points to you in return
for your assistance in wiping the floor with these amatures.

Please let me know what you think?
I am sure we can help keep the MacFolders off your butts for a while in return.

If you join up, just let me know.
Do NOT let the cat out you are from AOA.
We'll mention that after we win.

MaxPC just talks BIG, we clobbered them last year.

I'd like to use it to "extend relations" between our 2 sites.

Thanks for concidering this.

-Chuck

EDIT: Race Starts May 5th @ 12oo pm (noon) PST______________________________

I am sure you guys are mulling this over a bit.

No it won't be a 1 for 1 guess at repayment.
I have seen your numbers.

You WANT to pull away from those currently Trailing you.

I can't say an exact number because I honestly just don't know.

But I'm POSITIVE we can help you out with this.

I am only asking in hopes of making new friends for both our Teams.
SPIKE an interest in different machines and the way each of us run them.

I actually might now something you don't & visa versa.
We have a lot of new guys dieing to learn new stuff we take as old hat.

Let them be aware of AOA and how Great this place is.
Hell, I'll promote it anyway.

Lets make more friends and Help the Cause.

Interested?

Come take a look at least.
Come and poke fun at MaxPC, [H], and the Aussies.

I'll be around.
-Chuck

Anything you bring, we will return the favor.

Not like anyone is gonna know exactly how many rigs come over from where.

We are all using the same username....

Tell me you are bringing an Army of 4-8 additional Team Members.
Honor what you can.

If anyone comes late to the Big Show, so be it, no big deal.

It WILL help.
Each and every machine counts right?

If you can only come and Fold X number of WU's, that's fine too.
You came, you helped.

Even if it is only 1. It will be appreciated.

It's Saturday, I'm working tomorrow too, but starting my rigs about 18 hrs B4. (SMPs)

Let me know what you decide.
Come 1 Come All.

Change you user name and team as directed in the link.

To participate in the Chimp Challenge and help your fellow OCFers, run the folding@home client like normal, whichever you like, and use the username "T32Monkeys" and of course, team name is still 32

I'm currently trying to instruct my "confederate" at my shops back home how to change the settings on my running machines. I'm in a different language, over the telephone, working from memory, from the other side of the country. Mebbe I'll get lucky. If I don't I can't say I didn't try.

OK, you've got 8 dual pentiums at 3.5Ghz running for T32. I was able to talk my assistant through the setup; if all goes well I can get him some time to get more going over the next couple days. Results will start to show in a day or two.
I should be able to give you 16-18 machines. They do 12-1500 ppd each, so figure about 15k per day or better (depending on how many problems he has with the clients).
Can't get to my home boxen, so they fold for T45.
